Background...
Toby Holcomb was born during a huricane, it didn't sound like a good start, but he was a strong healthy baby boy. He grew up the oldest of two children, and was always the procetive older brother. When his sister, Angelina was seventeen, she was diagonsed with Schoziphrenia, and a few days later, his father was given the diagonsis of lung cancer. To make thiings worse, his mother seemed to sink into a deep depression, leaving Toby to fend for himself.

Despite the several setbacks Toby always managed to keep a positive outlook. He accepted a scholarship from the University of Flordia, where he majored in psychology. He graduated at the top of his class from college, and went on to Yale where he finished his Doctorate studies.

Returning home to Maimi, Toby once again had to deal with the strange family dynamics as his father, unable to kick the habit of smoking died. He stayed in Flordia for a year after his father died. In that time, his sister was declared competent and released from the instution she had been living in for the past several years.

Toby finally accepted a position at St. John's Hospital in New Haven, on their psychartic floor. However, after only a few months he had to return to Maimi when an emergency call came to him about his sister and mother. Staying there for several months while his sister was once again rehabilitated in a center there. Finally he was able to move them back to Conneicut with him, and placed them both in a nursing home, where they would recieve around the clock care. A few weeks later, he applied for, and accepted a job at Cherry Hollow.

Personality...
Toby tries his best to stay cheerful, espically around other people. Most people call him a bookworm, and he loves to write in his spare time. He is very thoughtful, and truly interested in the people he cares for.
